The Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA Holiday is family-friendly adventure resort nestled amidst whispering pines in the northern Arizona high country. The park features many fun activities for the youngsters and young-at-heart, including mini-golf, go-karts, hayrides, and access to hiking and mountain biking trails. The campground is conveniently close to area attractions, like the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon Railway, Williams old town, historic Route 66, and Flagstaff. This KOA is a great place to stop, relax, and have some fun while exploring this area of Arizona.

We stayed for two-nights at the Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA Holiday in early November, 2020.
COVID-19 Pandemic Response: Mixed – check-in inside office/store at front desk, plexi shield; no masks evident with staff in office or grounds; social distancing; closed/limited facilities; guest masks welcome, but not required.
Cost
For two-nights at a 50 amp full hookup gravel pull-thru site, we paid about $52 per night including taxes and Value Kard Rewards Discount. There were no additional fees for pets or an extra vehicle.

Accessibility – 5/5
The campground is easily accessible from Interstate I-40 via paved streets. Lanes in the park are well-maintained asphalt or gravel. The park has pull-thru and back-in RV sites and can accommodate large rigs. The campground facilities have provisions for Universal access.
Facilities/Amenities – 5/5
The park amenities include full or partial hookup 50 or 30 amp RV sites, tent sites, cabin rentals, restrooms, showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, cable TV, propane service, firewood sales, camp store, snack bar / cafe, mini golf, mining station, bike rentals, jump pillow, go-karts, weekend movie nights, Kamp Kitchen, pavilion, playground, BBQ & propane fire pit rentals, enclosed pet run, hot tubs / sauna, and indoor heated swimming pool. Facilities are clean and well-maintained.
The KOA is adjacent to national forest with access to miles of hiking, mountain biking, equestrian, and OHV trails. The campground also features guided tour and rental concierge services.
Site quality – 4/5
RV sites are full or partial hookup with 50 or 30 amp electric, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Park sites are pull-thru, clean, spacious, and most have shade trees. Site surface is gravel. Deluxe patio sites and deluxe cabins are available. The campground also features teepee and covered wagon campsites.
Scenic Value – 4/5
The campground is nestled amidst towering pines and is nicely landscaped, clean, and park-like.
Location/Isolation – 3/5
The campground is adjacent to Interstate I-40 so does get some road noise. Sites are fair sized and do not feel crowded. This KOA can, however, get very busy and bustling. OHV riding is popular in the area so expect noise from dirt bikes, ATVs, and other motorized OHVs driving thru the campground.
Paws Friendliness – 5/5
The campground is pet friendly, with cleanup stations and a K9 Kamp enclosed off-leash pet run. The park is large enough for a good walk with your pet and connects to miles of hiking trails.
Overall Rating – 5/5
Overall, the Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA Holiday is a convenient and family-fun place to stay while visiting the Williams/Flagstaff/Grand Canyon area. We enjoyed our short stay and would visit another time.

Water Quality
The water at this campground tested hard. Water-use is restricted due to having to truck in all water to the campground.
