Details
We stayed for four-nights at the Willcox / Cochise KOA Holiday in mid November, 2019. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and having breakfast at the on-site KOA Roadrunner Kafe.
Cost
For four-nights at a deluxe patio, 50 amp, full hookup, gravel, pull-thru site we paid about $65 per night, including tax and KOA Value Kard discount. There were no additional fees for pets or an extra vehicle.

Accessibility – 5/5
The campground is easily accessible from interstate I-10/US-191 via paved streets. Lanes in the park are wide and well-maintained gravel. The park has pull-thru and back-in RV sites, tent sites, rental cabins, and can accommodate large rigs. The campground facilities have provisions for Universal access.
Facilities/Amenities – 5/5
The park amenities include full hookup 50/30 amp RV sites, tent sites, rental cabins, restrooms, showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, cable TV, propane service, RV dump station, camp store with RV parts, recreation room, ice cream, on-site cafe – the KOA Roadrunner Kafe, playground, horseshoes, swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, pavilion, covered patio, and a pet run. Facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Site quality – 4/5
RV sites are full hookup with 50/30 amp electric, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Park sites are pull-thru or back-in, gravel, level, clean, and some have shade trees. Sites are spacious and do not feel crowded. Deluxe patio RV sites are available.
Scenic Value – 4/5
The campground has an open layout, features nice desert landscaping touches, and has sweeping vistas of high-desert and distant arid hills. Sunrise and sunset can be spectacular here.
Location/Isolation – 4/5
The campground is fairly quiet, but can get road noise from the interstate. Sites are fair sized and do not feel crowded.
Paws Friendliness – 5/5
The campground is pet friendly, with cleanup stations and a lighted enclosed off-leash pet run. The campground is large enough for a fair walk with your pet.
Caution – this is a desert environment. Be mindful to provide shade and plenty of water for your pet, watch out for hot ground surfaces, and beware of desert critters.

Overall, the Willcox / Cochise KOA Holiday is a relaxing desert getaway. This full-amenity park is a great place to stay while passing through the area or while exploring area attractions. We enjoyed our short stay and would visit another time.
