The Airport Inn Motel and RV Park is a quiet, big-rig friendly campground just off the Cariboo Highway, BC-97, in Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada. The campground is set in a tree-bordered grassy field with views of the lovely Fraser River valley and distant forested hills. This is a relaxing park to stop at while traveling the Cariboo Highway and a good base from which to explore attractions around Quesnel.

Details
We stayed for 2 nights at the Airport Inn Motel and RV Park in early May, 2018. This is a full service, clean, and well-maintained park. The park has senior, AAA and CAA discounts.
Cost
For 2 nights at a 30 amp electric/water partial hookup pull-thru site we paid about $32(CN) per night, including tax and AAA discount. There were no fees for pets or an extra vehicle.

Accessibility – 3/5
The campground is easily accessible from the Cariboo Highway, BC-97. Lanes in the campground are reasonably well-maintained gravel – some potholes need repair. The park sites are pull-thru and can accommodate large rigs. The campground facilities have few provisions for Universal access.
Facilities/Amenities – 3/5
The campground offers basic amenities, including full and partial hookup RV sites, tent sites, restrooms and showers, playground, community fire pits, coin-op laundry, free WiFi (near the motel), and walking trail. Facilities were clean and in decent repair. Year-round long-term stay RV sites are available.
Site quality – 3/5
RV sites are pull-through and have full or partial (water/electric) hookups, and a picnic table. Sites have 50, 30, or 15 amp electric service. Sites are level grass with good separation between sites.
Scenic Value – 4/5
The park is set in a grassy field bordered with poplars and conifers and has nice views across the Fraser River Valley to distant forested hills.
Location/Isolation – 3/5
This park feels like it is in a semi-rural area isolated from the bustle of Quesnel. The park is generally quiet but does get occasional noise from the nearby municipal airport and the Cariboo Highway.
Paws Friendliness – 3/5
The campground is pet friendly, but does not have an enclosed pet run or cleanup bag stations. The park does have a nice walking trail and pet area around the perimeter of the campground.
Overall Rating – 3/5
Overall, the Airport Inn Motel and RV Park is a nice place to stay while in Quesnel, BC. We enjoyed our stay here and would return another time.

Internet access
We received a strong 4G signal at this campground. Access was roaming, but did not cost extra with our Verizon Unlimited plan. High speed data usage throttled down after 500 Mb per device per day. The campground had WiFi service near the office and motel, but we did not try it.
Water Quality
The campground water tested hard – we added our water softener to the water filtration stack.
